sugar_land_acupuncture.jpg More and more people are seeking natural, proven alternatives to help them with pain management and a host of other health conditions. Sugar Land Chiropractor, Dr. Yvette Nadeau is passionate about providing non-invasive, drug-free pain relief and healing alternatives, one of which is Acupuncture/Dry Needling. Dr. Nadeau is a certified acupuncturist and provides acupuncture as part of her multifaceted system of treating the whole patient (not just isolated symptoms) in order to achieve real healing and overall wellness.

While many people are just learning about our Sugar Land acupuncture offerings, billions of people around the world, particularly throughout Asia, use acupuncture as their go-to treatment for almost every health condition, and have for at least 2000 years. Here at Total Chiropractic & Wellness Center, Dr. Nadeau has successfully used it to treat back pain, neck pain, headaches and all kinds of injuries and chronic conditions.

For Effective Pain Management, Try Sugar Land Acupuncture/Dry Needling

Dry Needling use extremely thin, sterile acupuncture needles that are inserted into precise points in the body called trigger points to break down the adhesion from inside out, taking much less time than massage that works from the outside. Most trigger points can be broken down in 5-6 sessions. Dry needling is also very effective in treating sprains/strains.

When these needles are applied by a skilled, certified acupuncturist, they can relieve pain with more long-term effectiveness than short-term methods such as painkillers. Our Sugar Land acupuncture/dry needling patients are able to benefit from this natural healing method which works to alleviate pain, but also to bring the body back into balance.

Dr. Nadeau uses acupuncture/dry needling for everything from sports injuries, car accident injuries and personal injuries to chronic back pain, heck pain, headaches and even conditions like allergies and fibromyalgia. Because acupuncture/dry needling is a safe, effective, drug-free and relatively non-invasive treatment, it is helpful for many kinds of patients, from the old to the young. Usually, Dr. Nadeau recommends a series of acupuncture treatments over the course of a few weeks.

Many patients notice a marked improvement after even just one or two acupuncture sessions. Insertion of the needles also brings little if any discomfort. Some patients do not even feel the needles going in. Some patients feel a tiny “mosquito-bite-like” prick. Many patients report feeling very relaxed during treatment. Several of our patients report feeling more energized afterward.

If you have been struggling with pain that has not responded to conventional treatments, or feel that you want to try a more natural approach, call us today at 281-242-4476 for an appointment to try our Sugar Land acupuncture treatments! • "After getting hit from behind, I went here for some body maintenance. After a month of scheduled maintenance I was 100% better, in fact I was better then I was before. I am super happy with the out come and I am even happier I did not have to pay a dime."
